The Marine Museum
In the Naval Museum you can see and experience what the naval personnel do. Meet sea heroes, admire weapons and uniforms and experience life on board a navy ship
The showpieces of the Naval Museum are three museum ships. Among other things, the impressive submarine Tuna lies here on dry land. Peek inside and marvel at the cramped spaces where 67 people lived together.
Toddlers and toddlers
The Naval Museum is also a fun experience for toddlers and toddlers. The exploration tour 'Mission Naval Museum' challenges children to explore the museum as an explorer. The 'Zeeheldentocht' is for real sea heroes and lets children wander through the past of the Dutch Navy. They may even deserve an award!
Meet pirates and old shipyard workers
Roll up your sleeves in the old artillery! Here is the interactive exhibition 'Ship and Wharf', where children and parents can hoist, sound and weld cargo themselves. Here, children take on the role of naval technicians and discover more about sonar, armaments and navigation. Who better to man a cannon on board?
