Beautiful museum, but unfortunately a bit homesick for the old Military Air Force museum in Soesterberg, we found that more sociable, more complex, you could climb the stairs at the planes to look inside and everything that was there fascinated us, this museum we visited for many years together with our small children, for going off a picnic near restaurant d'Hoog
4 years ago we had a (last) reunion of the Air Force, coffee with apple pie, and then guided a tour through the old Air Force museum Soesterberg, very cozy!
My husband (78) now wanted to go to the new museum, because he had had a fire brigade training on this base, and he thought he might have recognized some things, but unfortunately that was not the case, a supporter told us that on the other side of the museum there was still an old building, which is now used for cultural purposes, but well we entertained ourselves, tiring, but finally the coffee with sauce roll tasted delicious!
Schitterend opzet museum, maar helaas toch wat heimwee naar het oude Militair Luchtmacht museum in Soesterberg, dat vonden wij gezelliger, complexer, je kon de trapjes bij de vliegtuigen op om binnen te kijken en alles wat daar te zien was boeide ons,dit museum hebben wij vele jaren samen met onze klein kinderen bezocht, voor afgaand aan een picknic in de buurt van restaurant d'Hoog.
4 jaar geleden hadden wij een (laatste) reunie van de luchtmacht, koffie met appeltaart, en daarna onderleiding van een gids een rondleiding door het oude luchtmacht museum Soesterberg, erg gezellig !
Mijn man (78) wilde nu graag naar het nieuwe museum, omdat hij op deze basis een brandweer opleiding had gehad , en hij had gedacht misschien nog het een en ander te herkennen, maar helaas dat was niet zo, van een suppoost hoorde wij dat aan de overkant van het museum nog wel een oud gebouw stond, dat nu voor culturelen doeleinden word gebruikt, maar goed wij hebben ons vermaakt, wel vermoeiend, maar tenslotte de koffie met sausijzenbroodje smaakte heerlijk !
